Creative Concept
Sea-angels is the banner over all I create, the canopy above my enchanted world.
My paper creatures are rooted in Folklore, French History and Alchemy each has its hidden story and this narrative helps me determine the fragments of materials that I will use and the form of the work.
My bags and clothes are canvases, inventories of forgotten gowns, precious rags and worn cloth. This is then individually hand printed, embroidered, darned, upcycled. The wearer enhances the cloth with movement and the collaboration becomes the art.
